FAQ

Does my suit have a warranty?

Yes and no! Our warranty depends on the condition of each case. If your suit has just been shipped and needs to be repaired within 30 days for reasons other than human causes, we can repair it as soon as possible. However, if the repair will take a lot of time and materials, additional charges may apply. Please contact us first by mail or through the official communication social account so that we can understand the situation and make further communication. However, fursuit is just like your normal clothing, with time and wear will produce abrasion. When your paws or feet-paws need to be renewed, you can always contact us to make new one.

What if I gained/lost weight?

If it’s before we start production, we highly recommended that you contact us immediately so that we can make a modification to fit your new body type. However, if the finished product is already made, we are sorry that we cannot help you with body modification. However, please feel free to write to us to discuss the commission of a new body part.

What is a DTD?

DTD stands for duct-type-dummy, which is simply a dummy model of your body type made with a tape. When we make a body part, we use DTD to make the dummy to fit your body type as much as possible. However, if you are unable to provide one, we will also use a similarly sized employee to make one. If a DTD is required, it will only be used for the current order and will not be held or returned, as the DTD may be damaged during the design and production process.

What do you need when making a full suit?

We need a duct tape dummy (DTD), shoe size, height, weight, and width around the head. We will also send you a body measurement form via email for you to fill out.

Where do you get your fur? What kind of fur do you use and what is the source?

Do you have any ready-made or pre-made suits I can buy?

Our makers may create designs on a whim in between commissions. They are of the same high quality and attention to detail as custom-made, unique fursuits. There may be announcements on our social media sites, or we may bring them to events we attend. Don’t forget to follow our account to get the latest news.

Will you make a fursuit that looks like XXX suit or character?

We design our fursuits to express the character of our clients in our own style. We will never intentionally copy another character design or try to make a fursuit that looks similar to another studio or maker’s style. When a commissioner orders a character from us, they must promise that they have clear rights to that design, and without doubt, we will provide each commissioner with a unique piece of art.

Can you make a suit of a cartoon or comic character?

We will make a character that is clearly owned by the client; in other words, the client’s original character. We will never infringe on copyrights, trademarks, patents or any other intellectual property rights, and we will abide by legal and ethical rules.

What kind of reference do you need for a custom fursuit request?

References for fursuit designs should include front and back, preferably with special notations on the sides and pattern details. If you already have another costume for the same character, you can also use photos of all angles of the costume to give us a clearer idea. Of course, you can also provide all relevant design photos and drawings to let us more clearly confirm the expression of your character’s features. Please make sure that you provide us with links to the images that we can directly access. If you’re not sure where to upload, try using a free file transfer site or some of the free gallery sites.

However, since all of our fur/fabric are produced under contract with the 2333 Lightweight Fabrics, we will do our best to create a uniform product(s) unless the color is discontinued or other unforeseen events occur.

The heads we make are easy to wear and lightweight. However, anything that covers your entire head and face is more or less likely to restrict your vision and ability to breathe, and we have tried to make it as comfortable as possible for you to wear. The construction of the eyes is divided into pure mesh and covered acrylic frame, both have a good view, but the pure mesh will be more convenient in terms of breathability. There are also fans for ventilation inside the head (usually installed in the mouth), so you can breathe fresh air at any time.
