Disclaimers

  • By purchasing MofuMofuFursuit’s products (Fursuits, pre-made fursuits, artworks), you automatically agree to the following conditions
  • Please read them completely and carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, MofuMofuFursuit will refuse your commission.

  • If you are not comfortable with the MofuMofuFursuit Terms of Service and/or are not willing to agree to these conditions, you will not be able to request an commission from MofuMofuFursuit.

User Agreement

  • By commission MofuMofuFursuit, it will be implied that you have read and accepted all of the terms described herein.
  • Violators will be added to the blacklist indefinitely and without warning.

1.General

  • You, the client, will be expected to read the MofuMofuFursuit Terms of Service in advance and understand the general commission price.
  • You, the client, must be at least 18 years of age or be of an age where you can legally enter into a contract under civil law in your country. If you are a minor customer, please make sure to ask your guardian’s permission and ask them to sign the contract together with you when you sign the contract. If you cannot legally sign the contract, MofuMofuFursuit will refuse your request.
  • You, the client, may display MofuMofuFursuit’s work on external websites, as long as it is clearly credited and linked to MofuMofuFursuit.
  • You may not upload or moderate MofuMofuFursuit’s work in any portfolio designed to showcase your own work. Any such work needs to be tagged with MofuMofuFursuit.
  • You may not claim that MofuMofuFursuit’s work is your own production.
  • Any harassment in an attempt to beg for a commission (“slot”) will not be tolerated.
    This includes inappropriately worded comments, as well as private messages. MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to blacklist anyone for committing harassing behavior.
  • By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
  • Customers who have commissioned and/or received works prior to the effective date of these Terms of Service are still bound by their content.

(1)Rights

  • By commission us, you are purchasing MofuMofuFursuit’s services only as a commissioner.
  • MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to publish your finished display in their portfolio for any reason. Of course, MofuMofuFursuit will respect the client’s wishes to keep their work private until its “debut”. This will be discussed with the client beforehand.
  • MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to reject any project or client for any reason.
  • If MofuMofuFursuit no longer wishes to work on your project for any reason, MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to refund the full amount paid by you.

(2)Copyright Notice

  • MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to sign and/or watermark its own work when it is posted on its website and social media.
  • You are responsible for protecting your ownership of a fursona design.
  • MofuMofuFursuit retains all copyrights to its works, which includes the right to use the images as samples for sale or self-promotion, unless otherwise agreed.
  • MofuMofuFursuit will always respect your character design and artwork as well as the artist’s.

(3)Commissioning Price

  • MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to charge more as they see fit, depending on the complexity of your request.
  • Single quotation is only for the same batch of commissions. Quotes from previous years are not used as a reference standard, and prices will be adjusted according to actual conditions.
  • MofuMofuFursuit does not tolerate any form of harassment or attempts to negotiate its prices.
  • Any handling fees for money transfers and remittances are not included in MofuMofuFursuit’s commission price.
  • Getting a quote is not the same as the final price of your commission. They are only an estimate of the price for your proposal and character design. Quotations are in RMB. You must provide a proper and clear double or triple view and list all details to get a more accurate quote.

(4)Ordering

  • If you have any questions, please send the e-mail to [email protected] or send us a message on Twitter(X) / Telegram.
  • However, for your commission request, please use the official MofuMofuFursuit commission form for your commission.
  • MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to make changes to your request as they see fit, unless otherwise discussed. To ensure the complete accuracy of your commission request, please note down the required details and elements in the form.
  • If your role is very detailed, MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to charge a fee based on the complexity provided.
  • Please be concise in your request and keep abbreviations to a minimum so that comments are clear and easy to read. Please include appropriate image references in your request.
  • Please use Chinese, English or Japanese for any emails, private messages and comments you send.
  • Before participating in any transaction, you will need to wait for a response so that MofuMofuFursuit and you can discuss the details.
  • MofuMofuFursuit does not accept requests for specific adult add-ons.

(5)Determine the size

  • If the content of the commission is a full-suit, we will need the customer to make a duct-tape dummy, hereinafter referred to as DTD, the method will be enclosed with the size table.
  • If you expect to lose weight or gain weight, it is highly recommended that you wait until your body is in ideal shape before taking measurements and making DTDs.
  • Making DTDs with incorrect practices or providing inaccurate sizes may result in fursuit that do not fit. If these conditions occur, we will ask for a new DTD or size.
  • If the customer ends up providing incorrect dimensions or bad DTDs that we cannot detect, we cannot be held responsible for the incorrect fursuit dimensions, so please make sure the information you provide is correct.
  • If you are unable to provide a DTD, please provide your body type so that MofuMofuFursuit can find a DTD that matches your body type. However, there is no guarantee that your fuirsuit will fit your body perfectly.

2.Payment

(1)Payment

  • MofuMofuFursuit is not responsible for any errors you make during the transaction.
  • MofuMofuFursuit accepts payments in RMB via Alipay, Wise, any payment app that partners with Alipay or bank transfer. For payments in USD, NTD or Japanese currency, please contact us by e-mail to [email protected] or send us a message on Twitter(X) / Telegram.
  • We expect you to prepay a percentage of the price before MofuMofuFursuit production begins. There are no exceptions, unless otherwise discussed. This percentage usually starts at 20%, unless otherwise agreed upon. Unless otherwise stated, we will send you a contract to confirm the commission after you have paid a deposit of 20% of the total amount.
  • MofuMofuFursuit will start scheduling and producing your commission only after receiving 50% of the payment.
  • You should complete payment as soon as possible and MofuMofuFursuit will only send completed orders once MofuMofuFursuit has received 100% payment.
  • After confirming the order with MofuMofuFursuit, payment of more than 50% of the order must be made within one year to facilitate MofuMofuFursuit’s scheduling and production. If an order is confirmed for more than one year and not paid at least 50%, MofuMofuFursuit will refund and cancel the order. Customers who have discussed payment plans with MofuMofuFursuit in advance and paid on time are not subject to this condition.
  • A trade request will be initiated by MofuMofuFursuit to avoid unexpected trades.
  • Please do not send us any form of payment until MofuMofuFursuit confirms that it can accept your commission and agrees to a quote.
  • If you happen to use the guardian’s Alipay / Wise / bank account, please note that you hereby acknowledge that you have their permission to participate in this transaction.
  • Repeated commissioning of projects without payment will result in blacklisting.
  • MofuMofuFursuit will contact the customer upon completion of the product and the customer will be required to provide a shipping address and contact information for the delivery of the product. MofuMofuFursuit will collect all outstanding payments, shipping costs, and other charges that may be incurred from the customer after obtaining a shipping quote.

(2)Payment Plans

  • MofuMofuFursuit usually only accepts payment plans for orders over 20,000 RMB.
  • MofuMofuFursuit will discuss a payment plan with you in advance. You shall pay in installments over a limited period of time.
  • The amount of each installment as well as the time period will be discussed and documented in advance.
  • You should continue to pay the above installments without reminder until the total amount is paid in full.
  • The currency of the installment payment is RMB, and any currency exchange rate fluctuations will be borne by the commissioner.
  • Please refer to the section “Payment” for further instructions, as the process is the same.

(3)Production

  • We will provide samples or photos of the expected fur/fabric for customers to confirm the color and style before starting the production. Please note that the fur/fabric color may not be exactly the same as the design, but we will try our best to match the most similar color.
  • We do not provide photos of the production process, but we will update our social media sites with recent work in progress, so that our clients can follow us to keep up with the latest news.
  • If you do not want your commission to be disclosed in advance, please inform us in advance.
  • Before the commission starts production, the character designs can be modified, but the price may be adjusted, and we have the right to cancel the case if it differs too much from the original character.
  • If changes are made during production, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your requirements exactly.
  • If a revision request is feasible in production, an additional revision fee will be charged as appropriate.
  • We are unable to give an exact date for the completion of the engagement, but may be able to provide an approximate time frame estimate.
  • If there are any unforeseen circumstances that may cause us to delay an engagement, we will proactively notify our clients.

4.Refunds

  • MofuMofuFursuit may only refund 100% of the amount if they have not started working on the order.
  • If MofuMofuFursuit cancels a program on their own, they will reimburse the lost fees and refund 100%.
  • If materials have been ordered, but production has not yet begun, you will receive a refund, the 20% of the total amount will be charged, for materials already purchased.
  • If production has already begun, under 50% of the total production is completed, you will receive a refund up to 50% of the total amount. With the remainder to cover the materials and effort consumed by MofuMofuFursuit on this project.
  • If the production is between 50%-100%, you cannot get a refund and MofuMofuFursuit will finish your project. Please contact MofuMofuFursuit to discuss the handling of the finished production.
  • If MofuMofuFursuit agrees to a payment plan and they begin commissioning work after the first deposit is completed, they will not refund your said deposit if you withdraw from the payment plan.
  • If you, the customer, cancel your order, MofuMofuFursuit reserves the right to use all the parts already made.
  • If you commissioned a reference produced by MofuMofuFursuit or adopted a character from the MofuMofuFursuit adoption pool, MofuMofuFursuit will take back the ownership and use of the commissioned reference after refunding the cancellation of the commission.

5.Chargebacks

  • You are not entitled to issue a chargeback for any reason.
  • If, for any reason, your Wise account fails or a chargeback request is authorized without your knowledge, you must contact MofuMofuFursuit as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
  • When you need to cancel a commission request, you must contact MofuMofuFursuit.
  • Intentionally issuing a chargeback without contacting MofuMofuFursuit to cancel/refund the item will result in immediate blacklisting of you and your email address, as well as anyone who shares your Wise account, including side accounts.

6.Queuing / Scheduling / Speed of Work / Deadlines

  • You reserve the right to set a deadline for your commission. This deadline must be discussed prior to payment, and expedited fees will be assessed based on the complexity and duration of the commission.
  • Rush commissions must be paid in full prior to production and no refunds can be claimed.
  • MofuMofuFursuit has the right to reject a project if the time is too short. the time MofuMofuFursuit reserves for your order depends to a large extent on their full-time work and private life situation.
  • If you have not set a deadline with MofuMofuFursuit, you must not send a reminder. If they have priority over your project, the reminder will be ignored.
  • Harassment of MofuMofuFursuit’s working speed is not allowed, regardless of how much time has passed. MofuMofuFursuit will have their own schedule.
  • You reserve the right to be notified of any delays.

7.Revision and feedback phase

  • MofuMofuFursuit will not be responsible for “The character design in your mind” if it does not meet your requirements, but will only be responsible for the finalization of the character design you provided.
  • MofuMofuFursuit will not be responsible for any changes in the ownership of the above character.
  • Any changes to the final work without client feedback are subject to a fee.
  • MofuMofuFursuit will not rework a completed commission unless payment is received for a second commission.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that your commission contains and details that you want MofuMofuFursuit to follow.
  • MofuMofuFursuit is not responsible for any unsatisfactory elements of a completed products if there is no feedback to modify the products.

8.Shipment

  • We can send fursuit to all over the world.
  • Shipping costs are not included in the consignment estimate and must be paid separately by the customer.
  • All packages will be sent using the China Post system with a tracking code. If you specify another courier or have a better option, please discuss with MofuMofuFursuit in advance
  • Shipping costs do not actively include insurance, customers can request an additional price if needed.
  • Shipping costs are estimated according to the size, weight, country and time of delivery of the package.
  • We are not responsible for any customs duties incurred after the parcel has arrived. If you have any concerns about the regulations, please contact your local customs office yourself.
  • We cannot be responsible for any lost, delayed or damaged packages that are not caused by us.

9.Maintenance

  • Within 30 days after receiving the fursuit, if the customer finds any production defects or problems, please take photos and contact us immediately.
  • Most minor problems can be solved by guiding the customer through the instructions, and if the defect is our production defect, we will be responsible for free repair.
  • The free repair service does not cover out-of-size issues.
  • If it is confirmed that it needs to be sent back for repair, the customer will pay free shipping within the 30-day warranty period.
  • If there is any need for fursuit repair after 30 days, we must first assess and will charge for the repair as appropriate.
  • Repair costs will be charged on a case by case basis for repairs where man-made damage is the primary responsibility, whether under warranty or not.
  • Intentional damage or alteration of the suit at the subjective level will directly result in the loss of all subsequent warranty service for the suit and may result in your blacklisting, as appropriate.
  • Third party modifications, repairs (based on damage to the main suit) will result in the suit being disqualified from subsequent warranty service.
  • Shipping costs for repairs after the warranty period must be paid by the customer.
  • Please make sure to clean the fursuit or parts before sending it to us for repair.
  • We are unable to take care of any fursuit cleaning work for customers outside of China, relevant maintenance instructions will be delivered with the finished product, if you are a customer within China, please contact MofuMofuFursuit to discuss.

10.Final product and credit

  • There may be slight differences between the samples in the MofuMofuFursuit portfolio and the product you will receive, depending on when the samples are published. After all, MofuMofuFursuit is constantly striving to get better at their craft.
  • You, the customer, are responsible for storing any information, types of fur/fabric and other electronic data provided to you by MofuMofuFursuit.
  • MofuMofuFursuit is not required to post your project in any public space, and if posted, MofuMofuFursuit is not required to keep it there indefinitely. MofuMofuFursuit has the right to delete or remove any public project, even if you paid for it, as you should have your own final photos.
  • After the work is completed, feedback on the final product is allowed via private message, email or website, etc.
  • Any rude, inappropriate, inflammatory and/or non-constructive comments may result in blacklisting.
  • MofuMofuFursuit is only responsible for non-conforming items if the item was worn correctly and damaged due to faulty workmanship.
  • MofuMofuFursuit is not responsible for damage caused by errors due to the sexuality of the items received by the customer.
  • MofuMofuFursuit is not responsible for damage caused by not wearing the item properly as described prior to ordering. Damage caused with consent and knowledge will be blacklisted and will not be repaired/replaced.
  • MofuMofuFursuit items must be worn with care and responsibility.
